The work we will be completing
As part of the ongoing preparations for the HS2 railway construction, we will be carrying out essential works to construct a concrete wall immediately above the B4114, Birmingham Road, between the two viaducts. To carry out these works safely we will be installing a road closure.
Full closure of the B4114, Birmingham Road:
Start: 6am, Tuesday 5 May 2026
End: 6am, Monday 18 May 2026
Details:
- Our working hours will be from 7am to 6pm each day.
- The road closure will be in place 24/7 for the duration of the works
- Pedestrian and cycle access will be maintained throughout the closure
- Access to Woodlands Cemetery, the car boot sale field and Coleshill Manor Campus will be maintained from A452 Collector Road roundabout.
