Christian Aid Week 2021:
May 10th – 16: Coleshill and Water Orton Red Envelopes and Just Giving
The focus of Christian Aid week in 2021 is Climate Chaos one of the greatest threats and injustices that we face. Whether from drought or flood, we know it is the poorest communities in the world who suffer the most.
Our local communities have taken advantage of Christian Aid Week in May each year to acknowledge our relative security and the major inequalities and injustices that exist. In 2019, Water Orton Youth Groups went door to door and collected just under £2,000.00. Amazing! This was not possible last year, but £1,225.00 was donated through e-envelopes and collection boxes. Seasoned collectors and young people’s groups will be ready to seize the baton from us in 2022, doing all we can this year to share what we have with others. Here’s how.
