The local community engagement team from Balfour Beatty VINCI – HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, recently spent a day volunteering at Water Orton Methodist Church. The team, led by Aoinne Conway, painted the Community Hall that had suffered from rain ingress staining prior to the replacement of the roof. Drawn from different departments and areas, the team quickly got down to task and transformed the space.
“Their enthusiasm and teamwork was impressive,” said Margaret Smith, Church Secretary. “This opportunity to volunteer and make a difference is a real Win! Win! for all. Thank you Balfour Beatty VINCI.”
