Students from local primary schools, including St Edwards RC Catholic School, Water Orton Primary School, Coleshill CofE Primary School and High Meadow Primary School have been enjoying transition days at The Coleshill School preparing them for when they start in Year 7.
We had visits from David at Graffitiartist.com who worked with both our students and primary school children inspiring them to create some amazing artwork. All the students really engaged in the sessions and enjoyed creating their graffiti artwork.
Primary school students also attended STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) workshops where they enjoyed problem solving and taking part in science experiments.
Mr Bailey, Assistant Headteacher commented “It has been a pleasure to meet our upcoming Year 7s, they really have enjoyed the different activities at The Coleshill School and we look forward to welcoming them in September.”
