Doyle Sets Another Historical Global Milestone

Claverdon Village South Warwickshire cross country footpaths and hills was the venue again for Paddy Doyle, completing his career 950th physical fitness challenge and World Record, the former Paratrooper and Army / RAF reservist finished a tough 13.5 km speed march carrying 43 lb backpack in warm conditions in a final time of 2 hrs. 14 min. 31 sec. Supported by his loyal team Doyle made all of the checkpoints well within the cut off times. Kevin Brown President of Official Record Breakers, former 2 times Commonwealth Games discus finalist and four times World Champion said the following.

“As the President of Official Record Breakers I am super proud of Paddy Doyle’s tremendous achievements over the years, this man is a perfect role model to all generations and we should get all behind him when he smashes the milestone of 1000 fitness endurance challenges and World Records, he will be the first in history to of achieved this historic achievement and we should be all proud that he is our own, plus a former regular and reserve soldier, so let’s get behind him to achieve 1000 multi sporting feats for GB.”

Paddy Doyle went onto set ten mountain bike course endurance challenges carrying 30 lb expedition backpack kit at Pooley Park mountain bike routes Polesworth North Warwickshire, the results were. 5.5km 15 min. 51 sec, 6.5km 19 min. 45 sec, 8.5km 27 min. 25 sec, 9.5km 32 min. 57 sec, 10km 37 min. 19 sec, 12 km 43 min. 54 sec, 12.5 km 46 min. 41 sec, 14km 53 min. 02 sec, 14.5km 56 min. 35 sec, 15km 59 min. 39 sec. 

“It has been mentally tough again to cram in an extra ten mountain bike challenge records within a short space of time but I have been keeping on top of training daily in my personal training gym, to get to the 950th career title and increase it to 960 spurs me onto the main number I want, a big thank you to my sponsors and support team who are backing me all the way.”
