Magical Book Hunt Brings Easter Joy to Coleshill Families
Over 500 books found and gifted during an Easter ‘look for a book’ event by The Little Book Fairy.
Coleshill, 19th April 2025 – More than 500 children’s books were discovered and taken home by local families during the ‘Look for a Book’ Easter event, held along Coleshill High Street and organised by Independent Usborne Partner The Little Book Fairy (Grace O’Malley).
The event invited children to explore the high street in search of hidden books, each one free to keep. It was a fun, family-friendly way to encourage reading for pleasure and bring the community together during the Easter weekend.
All books were generously sponsored by local shops, businesses, and kind-hearted individuals, helping make the magic possible. The initiative aimed to support literacy, boost confidence, and give children the joy of owning their very own book.

The event is part of a growing series of community-led book hunts and projects, organised throughout the year by The Little Book Fairy, with a focus on promoting access to books and celebrating the power of stories.
