Terri-Ann For England
A Coleshill School student is celebrating their selection to represent England in an upcoming national competition.
Terri-Ann Firth, an archer who attends The Coleshill School was selected to shoot for England at the Junior National Indoor Competition in December.
The Meriden Archery Club competitor – has been shooting for 5 years and had to change bow disciplines 12 months ago because of a long-standing injury to her shoulder.
Since making the change, Terri-Ann has gone from strength to strength, breaking multiple Warwickshire County Records, placing third at Archery GB’s Junior National Outdoor Competition earlier this year, and now being selected to represent her country is the culmination of a lot of hard work over the last year.
Her mother said:
“Terri-Ann has worked so hard since changing the bow type she shoots, and we’re so proud of all the strides she has made in her progress. She’s always had a passion for archery, but these last twelve months something has just clicked, and she’s making huge progress – we just can’t wait to see what’s next for her after shooting for her country”.
Terri-Ann will be shooting for England on 04 December 2022 at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
