On March 25th, Castle Bromwich Singers organised and produced “Spring into Song Again”. The concert was held at the Baptist Church and featured local artists, Duncan Mc Laurie, Chris Beebee, Gemma Kirby, Spectrum and Three in Harmony. All singers and groups are local and have sung together many times. As always Castle Bromwich Singers were accompanied by live music with Stella, Helen and Andy on piano, keyboard and drums respectively.

In a relaxed atmosphere, with many of the audience familiar with our artists, compere, Chris Beebee kept the evening flowing with his humour and engaging repartee as well as doing his own spot. With more comedy from Prone to Mischief and some unexpected amusement from Castle Bromwich Singers the whole event was good fun and easy going. Songs included hits from the 60’s, Disney favourites, songs from film and musicals and hits by Neil Diamond and Gary Barlow. All groups are currently rehearsing for their next shows and would love you to come along.

All the acts continually perform for local charities and this concert was no exception with the proceeds being donated equally between the church and Seeds of Hope, Kingshurst. We jointly thank our audience for their generosity and support and hope to see you soon.
