Expansion drives recruitment for local telecoms company
Coleshill based company G Comms has experienced exceptional growth in the five years since it was founded. This period of rapid growth continues today with a move to a new facility and an exciting expansion of the workforce.
G Comms are technical partners providing logistics services, such as warehousing, kitting and delivery to on-site teams developing the UK 5G network. According to managing director Claire Greenwood the 5G network is set to transform every industry, business and experience. They are already working with all the major mobile operators, EE, BT, O2 and Vodafone.
“We’re a big part of this transformation, and proud to be playing our part in keeping people connected, informed and safe.”

They have recently won a contract to provide similar technical support for an exciting and fascinating test of driverless cars operating in and around Coventry.
Their incredible success means good things for the local area, including offering new job opportunities for people in and around Coleshill. Claire Greenwood from G Comms says that their growth is due to the hard work of the G Comms team. Here’s Claire again:
“We’ve had great success over the last five years. Great success is only possible with great people. That’s why we worked hard as a business to earn our recent ‘Investors in People’ award.”

In fact, G Comms earned Investors in People Silver on their first attempt, something only 15% of organisations achieve. They plan to continue developing their staff and processes and work toward the Platinum award, the highest available.
G Comms are planning to continue their impressive growth and to improve on the success of the last five years. With additional funding from HSBC bank recently secured, alongside a welcome business growth grant from Warwickshire Investment Fund they stand in good stead for their planned future.
