2021 A Level and Level 3 BTEC results from The Coleshill School
Year 13 students from The Coleshill School can be incredibly proud of their achievements as they collected their A Level, Level 3 BTEC
and Cambridge Technical qualifications. These students have had to show an unprecedented level of determination, resilience and perseverance, after being impacted by the pandemic over much of their Sixth Form study. Our students have had to cope with lockdowns, online learning and the disruption caused by self-isolation.
Teacher Assessed Grades have been awarded this year, in place of full examinations. These grades have been arrived at through a rigorous assessment process, culminating in a series of assessments in the summer term. Our students have achieved their grades through hard work and dedication and have shown true Coleshill ‘spirit’.
Ian Smith-Childs, Headteacher, said
“This year group have achieved a very positive set of results across all qualifications and are now well placed for their next steps. We are delighted that so many students have achieved their potential in what has been a very challenging two years for them. Through which they have developed new skills that will set them apart. The hard work of our students has enabled them to go onto their chosen destinations, with the majority of students attending their first choice universities or colleges, with 40% of these students attending Russell Group universities. A number of students have secured high quality apprenticeships and some students have gone into employment. We are so proud of all of our students and wish them every success for their futures.”
