Stagecoach Coleshill

It was great to be asked to meet the team at STAGECOACH COLESHILL where they meet at The Coleshill School every Saturday morning.

Stagecoach Performing Arts has arrived in Coleshill at The Coleshill School!

Stagecoach Performing Arts is a national organisation which offers performing arts classes to children between 4 and 16 years. Early stages classes are offered to children between 4 and 6 years of age and then the main stages school offer Drama, Dance and Singing classes to young people between 6 and 16 years.

Young people love coming to Stagecoach Coleshill every week. We were delighted to be able to talk to some of the youngsters who attend the school:

Sophie who is 13 years old from the Stage 2 class has been attending for over 2 and a half years and told us “I am happy here, I like learning the dances, developing my acting skills and socialising with the other member of my stage.’

Lola from the Stage 1 class said ‘Stagecoach Coleshill is fun with great people that I mix with and I have made lots of friends in just a few months of being at the school!’

Oli from Stage 1 said “I have been coming here over a year. The teachers are great and I love developing my drama skills and performing!”

Teachers at Stagecoach are professionals within the performing arts industry and ensure that classes are fun but also develop the skills needed to develop confidence and become proficient in singing, dancing and acting!

The early stages class (4-6 year olds) love attending Stagecoach every Saturday between 9.30 and 11am.

Charlie says ‘I like it here because I like to sing and dance’.

Freya told us that she loves the teacher and loves coming to Stagecoach Coleshill every week!

The students at Stagecoach Coleshill were so happy for us to be there and showed us some of their wonderful performances. Above all, they looked like they were really enjoying themselves and were happy to be there and be part of a supportive group of young people! It was also nice to see a mixture of different ages and also a mix of boys and girls taking part in the classes.

Andrew Johnson is the manager of Stagecoach Solihull and said:

“we are delighted to have been able to make The Coleshill School our permanent home and we can’t wait to build up our already wonderful school every Saturday! Our motto at Stagecoach is ‘Creative Courage for Life’ and that’s what we stick to! We want young people to develop their skills in singing, dancing and acting but also to develop courage and confidence in life – these transferable skills are invaluable and we can’t wait to welcome new young people through the doors on a Saturday morning!”

We have limited spaces across all classes in September. Depending on your child’s age, classes run between 9.30am and 1pm every Saturday at The Coleshill School. To find out more about classes and our Summer Workshop please visit
