Coleshill Community Hub… We are back!!!

We will be opening our doors on the 17th May and we are all very excited to welcome you back… at a distance of course, but we simply cannot wait to see you all again. The Hub will look slightly different to start with, and you may be asked to wait outside for a short time, and when you enter you will be asked to wear a face covering and to sanitise your hands (our new normal).

As we start to see the high street get busier and people are venturing out to the pubs and restaurants, you may start to feel anxious and worried about what to expect. Just remember the Hub is here and you can call for a chat or we can put you in touch with MIND if you need that little bit more. Are you worried about your employee rights? If so, we can put you in touch with the CAB. Whatever it is, we will try our very best to help you.

We will also be welcoming back our wonderful volunteers, and we are all really looking forward to getting back to what we love, helping people in any way we can. The Hub has still been busy helping people over the phone, email and even through the window, but now, finally, we get to properly welcome you in.

Our volunteers are incredibly important to the Hub, they are skilled in many ways, and they can help with providing information on benefits, energy, setting up an email, job hunting and many more.

Could you be a volunteer at the Hub?
If you a have few free hours a week, and love meeting new people, please get in touch. You do not need to have any qualifications or experience, just a willingness to talk to people and learn. We will help you build your knowledge and gain confidence.

Thank You!
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the many volunteer groups around Coleshill, the vulnerable people that you have cared for would have been lost without you, so Thank You very much!

A very big shout out to the amazing people from the Coleshill Angels, not only have they been putting smiles on peoples faces with the gift of some fantastic, donated eggs, but they even set up a great Easter Egg Hunt for the kids in the area.

A big big Thank You to Hazelwood Surgery, you have well and truly put Coleshill on the map with the incredible vaccine rollout.

We are also excited to announce that the Coleshill Community Hub will be getting involved with English Tourism Week 2021 22-31 May. We have not finalised the schedule just yet, but we will be working with the Coleshill Library, The Old Market Hall and Coleshill Town Hall to bring you a week of displays and events to showcase what Coleshill and the surrounding area has to offer.

Please get in touch Monday – Friday 10am – 1pm on 01675 462517 or email charlie@coleshilltowncouncil.gov.uk/ helen@coleshilltowncouncil.gov.uk . Make sure you follow us on social media for up to date information about what is happening at the Hub and in the area. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @coleshillhub.
