Angels of Coleshill – What a community thank you

A huge thanks to our amazing local businesses. Glitzy Bits were kind enough to allow us to join the fun at their facebook Friday Night live and share our Easter appeal with the Glitzy and Lilliann customers and we have been overwhelmed by the generosity that has been shown.

Easter egg donations

Easter Eggs and cards have been donated by so many; including Glitzy Bits, Liliann, Café on the Hill, Mr Pinks, Morrison’s, Fond Farewell – Kerry Jones, Civil Funeral Celebrant, Mighty Minds Book Shop, Charlie & Co, Café on the Hill and Mr Pinks; with so many still coming in… Thank you all.

The customers of these fantastic businesses have also really got involved in this appeal, which started off with the aim to be able to deliver an Easter Egg and Card to each of our local care home residents.

Donations are being collected in at Glitzy Bits, Mr Pinks and Café on the Hill, but you have all been so generous we needed to find more storage; so thanks also to the Town Hall. Donations are being received until 31st March.

I think we have well and truly smashed that goal already. In addition to the Eggs and cards, Cllr Jack Deakin has also donated £600 to our Easter appeal from his council grant. The appeal success will mean we are able to bring happiness to many more than we originally hoped.

The Angels of Coleshill are continuing to support local residents in a variety of ways, please get in touch if you are shielding/ isolating and have no one to help with shopping, prescriptions etc… Contact: Deb 07710 272677, Caroline 07917366755, Anna 07921 506321 Happy Easter to you all x
