Autumnal splendour at Castle Bromwich Historic Gardens in October
Perhaps one of the ‘prettiest’ times to visit the Gardens, Autumn brings with it a certain alchemy, with the ever-changing colours of the leaves, to the fresh return of the crisp air, the sun shines golden and low in the sky. With long shadows cast across the Gardens, it becomes a place of tranquil magic.
We remain open at our usual times this October, Wednesday through to Sunday 10:30am – 4:30pm each day. We have planned family activities and trails during October half-term and something delightfully entertaining for Halloween itself; expect socially distanced activities for all the family and something a little spookier for those who dare. For all information, including updates and changes based on any current restrictions, please head to our website www.castlebromwichhallgardens.co.uk or visit our Facebook/Instagram or Twitter for up to date information.
2020 is the 35th Anniversary of Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens Trust and we have celebrated the best we can considering the circumstances of this year. We are grateful that we can celebrate the present, but we would still like to record and remember the past. We have set up a group attached to our Facebook page to start recording people’s memories about the Gardens and the Hall. Perhaps you or people you know have a story to tell or an image to recall? Why not leave it on our Facebook group? To find the group, search for ‘I remember….Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens’. We will keep gathering stories for a while and make them into something new to share. As always, we wish you all the best this coming month and hope to see you in the Gardens to enjoy a sprinkle of Autumnal magic to dust the cobwebs away.
