85 Career Fitness Endurance Challenges and World Records
Determined Doyle Carry’s On Despite Injuries
Fillongley Village endurance athlete Paddy Doyle dragged himself off the ground from a bad fall whilst attempting an 80 km mountain bike low technical course, carrying 30 lb back pack which was part of the RAF 80 km Hurricane challenge.
Doyle suffered a sprained wrist, bruised cut knee cap and concussion at the 45 km check point, cutting out the pain he continued along the Rowington foot paths, Stratford upon Avon and Grand Union Canals finishing the new record challenge thirteen minutes within the cut off, setting a new course time of 4 hours, 47 minutes and 18 seconds.
“It was tough going from the 45 km check point onwards, I was shaken and felt concussed but the support team kept me going every kilometre.”
Doyle has now achieved a career 685 documented fitness endurance challenges and World Records under eight different sporting categories.
