Brief History

Coleshill Town Ladies formed in 2019, with this season being their first season competing. As a new team, Coleshill Town Ladies are required to start at the bottom of the women’s football pyramid, meaning this season they are competing in the Birmingham County Women’s League, Division 1. Coleshill Town Ladies have acquired players mainly from Solihull Moors Under 18’s team, as well as experienced players from higher divisions. However, the average age of the side is very young. 

After what seemed like the longest wait ever (7 weeks to be precise!) with the storms making pitches unplayable, Coleshill Town Ladies finally played another fixture. It was an extremely important one too, taking on 3^rd place Alvechurch Town who Coleshill knew would be strong from the off. Coleshill got off to a flying start scoring from the opening phase of play, however Alvechurch as expected fought back and managed to draw level. Coleshill then showed their class on a tough pitch, scoring another four goals with no more reply from Alvechurch. Goal Scorers: Beth Harborne x 3, Natalie Gibson, Alice Belcher.
